![]() ![]() ![]() JK Rowling seemed to me, in her writing, a little rushed to get the epic over. Some of the twists that did come where unexpected, others not, but there just weren't enough of them. ![]() Some things seemed to be thrown in for convenience without a good explanation. My questions were answered, albeit not always to my liking, but then what novel can keep everyone happy? Very sad to see the end of such a great storyline and in spite of my disappointments, if you've read 1-6, you should still read this last one. I'll be re-reading again, more slowly, in the hopes of finding some subtle twists and turns that I might have missed. JK Rowling amazes again! Couldn't have written better. JK has a "magical" power of captivating the reader's attention by giving little subtle tid bits of information that leave you earning for more. This book leaves you with a satisfied feeling at the end of a lengthy and amazing saga. She takes her time showing the trio's amazing friendship, comradery and ultimate love for one another. She shows that not only can good triumph over evil but how it is important to sacrifice whatever necessary (even your life) for the "great good" of all mankind. ![]()
